MOSCOW (Dispatches) -- Warships from Russia’s Pacific Fleet and the Chinese Navy carried out missile and artillery firing exercises in the Sea of Japan, as part of the Ocean-2024 drills, RIA state news agency reported Monday.
More than 15 Russian warships took part in these joint drills. Among them was the flagship of Russia’s Pacific Fleet, the missile cruiser Varyag. The joint naval exercise is part of a broader collaboration between the Russian and Chinese militaries, demonstrating their increasing cooperation in maritime defense.
